Exactly. Especially listening to Alice, I can feel the song was written with house in mind.
on topic, I don’t wanna die before she fffing rease a full on rock album (not just BTW-ish soft rock elements. But full on rock).

Since Gaga is very good in evoking other artists in her record without the feeling of ripping them off, imagine these possibilities:

1. Gaga blending the elements of Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica and Slayer (Big 4 of Thrash Metal) together in one song

2. Gaga sampling beats from iconic metal songs and make a whole new metal pop song out of them

3. Gaga composing catchy guitar riffs with the help of guitarists or even metal bands (just like how she composed chromatica interludes and the orchestra from INLA)

4. Gaga converting the guitar riffs/solos and drum beats (intended to metal) into edm elements

5. Gaga writing a song with a theme that responds to older rock songs. (Like how Welcome to the Black Parade connects to Bohemian Rhapsody)

These might be all ambitious but we know Gaga when she's fired up.

I am very up for a 'rock' album. And by that, I still mean something that is very her and still a pop album of sorts, but the furthest into rock she's ever gone. Not massively into metal, but one or two songs could be good, I'd really like to see what she'd do with Nu-Metal though.

You could have it and still appeal to fans who only really want pop/dance by having a few tracks that lean in that direction. Singles wouldn't be too much of an issue, could see the lead single being a quirky rock/nu-metal influenced pop song like We Appreciate Power, release a power-ballad ala Total Eclispe Of The Heart, as well as a classic Gaga piano ballad and then a random one for a final fourth.

Could easily see an album of 12 tracks that has a focus/feel of rock without feeling like an album that's a tribute to a genre like Cheek To Cheek.

1. MTN style track but rockier

2. Song like Trigger which climaxes with a scary church organ come metal final minute.

3. Nu-metal banger

4. Slightly poppier nu-metal track, with a quiet spoken outro leading nicely into next track.

5. Standard Gaga ballad.

6. Massive power ballad. Either this one or the previous could be her 'Life On Mars'

7. Dance Rock track like some Justice songs like 'Civilisation' and 'On and On'

8. Punk track

9. Metal song

10. Non-cringe pop rock banger, maybe imagine something like Electric Chapel if it was clearly rockish, or Diamond Heart.

11. Arena rock song.

12. Finish with a HUGE power Ballad, like imagine Bruce Springsteen's interpretation of Bad Romance combined with something like Total Eclispe Of The Heart.

(I don't want her to recreate her old work or copy other artists' hits, I just listed it like that so show the kind of album I could picture her releasing)

That being said, it'd be cool to see what she'd come up with is she forgot about trying to please fans and the label and just went all out rock.

Yup. Would be great if she can go all out Rock Chick.

Maybe something like Heart Of Stone era Cher, Stevie Nicks, and Blondie, or go harder like Bif Naked, Joan Jett. and Heart does. Woo, that gonna be amazing. She got vocals that goes there already.

I would love to see her do a rock album similar to 70s rock/glam rock with elements of disco but would also die if she did an actual metal album, I wonder if she'd be able to pull off metal vocals but she is Gaga and her voice has deepened in pitch in recent years so I could see it :sis:

I don't think that's correct. She enjoy the genres new and old. A

i didn't mean that she doesn't like newer music :awkney: i just meant she's covered led zeppelin a few times in her early career and referenced them a ton over the years + her performances with Sting and Metallica

Because she knows her audience. We dont want country, jazz or other hybrids. We want Sour Candy type of bussy popping b0ps

yea, she knows that she has to many tasteless monsters and they don't deserve rock or some real great type of music. :triggered:

but she will do rock album in the future, because she knows what is real music and what she wants

Not all of us are fixated on gay bops, we actually have a wider taste in music.

I always wanted to say that  I'm happy that someone said the same.

I too have posted this video with the same idea and almost everyone agreed

I think the fab base would be here for it and such a shift would definitely catch the GP attention!

Omg literally what I've said

Maybe have a couple songs (or even 3) more hardcore rock or metal and then the rest of the album still more pop/rock kind of like P!nk or Avril Lavigne or even Fefe Dobson

I'd also kill for at least one track with this style if she can pull it off
