the protests wouldn't have had that effect since people were wearing face masks and keeping their distance. The only ones who weren't were the people who were trying to protect the statues.

If lockdown in England is released to this extent, its more likely to cause a 2nd wave than any protests will.

A guy I’m currently dating works in a local bar as a queen, they’ve been told apparently they can open on the 4th and they don’t need to abide by the distance rules nor limit how many people can come in; people just have to wash and sanitise their hands still and they’ve been told that they have to take the names and contact numbers of EVERY customer before they enter and if one person is found to have Corona virus they have to contact the bar and then they have to shut down and contact EVERY customer who was in on that evening to get tested.

I know imagine how many people are gonna flock to pubs ! Seems as nightclubs are closed that’s gonna be where there gonna go to socialise/drink
