I think we can all agree... (911)

That 911 is the most experimental song on Chromatica :vegas:

I know I know, right now everyone’s hating on it, but you HAVE to admit, it’s one of the most experimental songs on the album, here we got:

1 - Synthesized/Melodined vocals throughout the whole song :legend:

2 - Vocal harmony “Ou” transitions :classy:

3 - The lyrics, most people wouldn’t dare to ever use “911” as a metaphor for anything, but there goes Gaga being Gaga :vegas:

4 - The dark chords, adding an F Major in a C Minor scaled song is pretty interesting, but it fits SOOO well in the song! :woohoo:
5 - “Born This Way” like production from the drums to the rattling bass synth.

6 - Obviously the transition from Chromatica 2 into the intro :firega:

7 - One of the only true “80’s” inspired songs on the album, most of it being more inspired by 90’s house, 70’s disco, and 2010’s synthwave.
8. The only song released since Dope that’s been about a drug of any kind that she’s written.

What do you think? If you hate the song, that doesn’t matter, but you CAN’T deny that it’s not experimental or one of the MOST experimental songs on the album :vegas:

I think it's pretty conventional but sounds really cool. Sour Candy is the most experimental to me. There are basically two choruses - a Gaga chorus and a BLACKPINK chorus. No bridge. And Gaga raps her verse (which is a different vocal melody from the BLACKPINK verse). And, of course, it prominently features Korean lyrics.

911 is her best song after Bad Romance and Judas!

I’d actually say it’s more ARTPOP than BTW, which makes sense bc Madeon. The chorus backdrop reminds me of ARTPOP sounds a lot.

id describe it as a bit more chill ARTPOP

Ok y'all need to research what experimental music is and looks/sounds like. It's not just a really electronic song with a unique structure or special effects. Experimental music is created through experimental production methods. Idk thay any of Chromatica is particularly *experimental* which isn't a bad thing. Experimental music can be dance music but usually experimental music is very explicitly experimental and at least one current trend is the idea of dissonance and lack of melodic structure AT ALL.

It is undeniably one of the most experimental in chromatica, the song also sounds Janelle Monae & Of montreal's "Make the Bus"-ish which I don't expect from gaga:firega:
