TWICE on hatius 4,746
You know why miss Gaga outlasts most of her peers? Because of the edginess in her voice. You can have pop records as flawless as TD but if zero connection is made between the audience and the artist, it's nothing but complications of catchy pop songs. Miss Gaga has miss and hit all the times but at least her albums have a concept that is derived from certain singing style. That's why liddos having such a hard time moving on from a certain era as they are too connected with that color of that era. While other fan bases such as miss Katy's jumped on any era easily as long as there're few songs sound catchy. And see it how it turns out lately. But anyway, Chromatica is the embodiment of 70s diva's vocal realness rooted from real human's trauma. I personally like her "screaming-at-the-top-of-her-lung" voice in fun tonight than Dua's smooth vocal in Levitating. P.s: I think After Hours is the the best album this year but y'all won't catch me opening a topic like that to contribute absolutely nothing aside my unnecessary opinions to this forum Please ignore the spelling in username. I am a Beyonce stan afterall.

As a narrative, Dua’s album has its shortcomings. But I just can’t deny, in this summer heat listening to a song from FN is a lot more pleasurable than something shouty and in your face like Enigma. So just don't listen! I am tinder
Dramatica 13,690
All of you shading OP, that doesn't make us a better fanbase does it I love Chromatica, and I love Future Nostalgia, but I respect your point of view I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time. I mean aren’t we even allowed to defend Gaga on her own forum? This is not ATRL. I swear they need to stop letting just anybody enter. Tired of shite like this and the abuse of the opinion tag. Its very disco and funk for the majority of the tracks. But where FN fails is the fact it doesn't go hard enough. It doesn't go all in, and after like 5 or 6 tracks in, it becomes repetitive and boring. It was like a throwback album to the 70s... but it didn't bring them and update them. Its a short album, but boy does it feel long. The singles are among the strongest on the album for sure. Hallucinate is the best on the album. It really goes THERE and takes me somewhere the rest of the album didn't. Its more house/electro-pop and reminds me of a Gaga song. But then there's tracks like "Good In Bed" and "Boys Will Be Boys", along with the title track and a few others that are just plain boring. I had hope that Dua was gonna bring something different to the table, but alas, she didn't. I thought she was gonna be someone with individuality, but she didn't show any development interms of her music from what she was doing before. Bland, generic and boring. To even compare FN to Chromatica is laughable in my opinion. They are just in different leagues. End Racism Now

pedrohemg 7,802
Imagine being that kinda person. Y'all must be boring as f***. All these kinda threads talking about production and details that most of us don't care about, and we definitely shouldn't care. The thing is, you listen to a song and you like it or not. But you guys keep trying to find reasons for not liking it. "Oh because the production ruined the song for me". Really? Is that the reason? Are you a producer or what? Are your ears trained enough for that kinda details? Just stop.

Lord Temptation 11,209
The problem with these types of threads is that EVERYONE here likes artists and albums other than Lady Gaga. But why say that one is better than another? Art is not a contest. Music is not a sport. But, get that hit thread I guess
Guest
Ok, say you like FN better, fine. But saying FN is better than Chromatica sounds simply off
