I would say anything that favours the extinction of humans is eligible as the best thing that could happen to mother nature.

or

OR it’s not human race but rich people and corporations who give 0 ****s about nature and other people.

And a lot of the people who aren't rich go along with it thinking everyone deserves to be rich. It's not an isolated issue.

*And a lot of the people who aren't rich throw trash, plastic and cigarettes everywhere, exterminate forests and use CFCs

Everything could be everything (it could mean anything)

Yes and they’re called liberals.

I'm not even vegetarian, but I think this is a good time to reduce (if not eliminate) our meat consumption.

Why? Do you eat raw meat? :selena:

Outbreaks can happen so f*cking easily with miss rona. It's honestly terrifying and makes me never want to leave the house again.

Nope. But:

1) It seems nearly impossible to socially distance in these meatpacking plants. I care about workers, and I care about containing the spread of covid.

2) Prices of meat are going up as a result of these plants constantly closing, so that's a good enough reason to cut back on meat consumption to save money.

3) There is a shortage of meat in some places (someone on this site mentioned McDonalds in their area being closed due to a beef & chicken shortage), which of course is related to #2.

Interesting considerations. I really wonder why exactly this happens only on meat plants.

It is just a matter of testing or it is actually harder to social distancing in these places?

Yeah, I don't know. Why isn't it as much of an issue at other factories?
