As much as I loved BTW and ARTPOP, I feel that she was getting too excessive and the aesthetics for each era are a bit too convoluted. In terms of aesthetics, I gotta say Joanne was also up there, though. Eye-grabbing in its own way and very cohesive and well-crafted. She wore lots of black, but also lots of bright, rich colors, like red, turquoise, electric blue, or purple. There was a simplicity to them too. I also loved the tech aspect of the ipod glasses & disco stick. My rankings of her fashion eras: 1. The Fame 2. The Fame Monster 3. Joanne (PI outfits especially) 4. Chromatica 5. ARTPOP (would be higher if it was just August-December, but there were some very questionable choices towards the end here, like that huge green wig) 6. BTW 7. TFM just had such a dark gothic vibe to if and the visuals are just iconic, BTW photoshoot with the iconic horns and slime are just Chromatica also continues that theme as well !
