Ofc but I feel like Vogue is literally a mecca for opportunistic people and I feel like if she was kinder and more friendly many people would actually try to take advantage of her and her position. Vogue needs discipline and her style of management is what I believe works the best considering what it’s all about and how perfect everything needs to be. I’m all for friendly managers but my experience with them ended up not being productive enough - not from my side but from other people who took it for granted.

Anna Wintour has been the cause of past beauty standards as in teens which made me realize how bad I was for not looking like those portrayed in magazines

 

from young persons to older ones boy/girls 

anyways I never saw a diverse image, kinda like how Gaga shows there is uniquess in the world 

and there was always a standard 

to be honest is white based from which I’ve been seeing ( hey it’s beautiful) and yet alive never seen so much exposure to other race or cultures from which I am

It really just depends on the industry as well though. But chewing employees out in front of customers is verbal abuse and never acceptable. It creates a bad precedent for how customers think they can act.

My old boss gave me Anna vibes. She was so rude and looked down at her staff because she was quite wealthy and successful. Now I don’t think my old boss was an intrinsically evil person she just had her head up her own arse because of her status - I think that’s pretty much Anna’s problem. I don’t we’ll ever eradicate that ‘type’ of person so there isnt much point in trying to scrub it away by dismantling Anna Wintour because she’s a rich bitch.

Agreed.  It does depend on the situation.  In the case I mentioned the employees actually wanted the manager to succeed and look good to her district and corporate managers.  But yes, at Vogue it may not be possible to create such a close bond with the employees.

She is a scary and serious boss, she is not the friendliest but what the hell is that have to do with anything? She gets her work done, she stays out of others businesses and she has the right to expect people to do their jobs. Vouge also have the first Black cover under her oversight.

Why are we expecting everyone to be yours friendly next door neighbor?

Also, fashion is rarely the leader in social movements. However, they are a giant amplifier for social causes. Just because the media doesn't speak of Anna doesn't mean she does nothing. Her voice is always heard through Vouge and Vouge does actively push for diversity.
