Anna is just a mean person and that’s the fact. She has been doing pretty great when it comes to the inclusiveness in Vogue magazine tho IMO. Many woman of color, different sizes and woman who are part of lgbt community were on the cover. She is a mean person and probably a nightmare to work with but let’s not link that to social justice.

She was the boss of that Bon Appetite editor fired recently for how he treated the black employees and contributors at the magazine.

I see it just like you, but I would add: Instead of questioning her involvement with social justice amd diversity, the question might rather be if we should still accept terrible bosses?

I see you but that is not possible. “Bad” bosses are one of the best bosses to get the things done. World wouldn’t function at all if we all had bosses who would be out friends. There needs to be a clear line.

She had many black people on the cover and I didn’t get the feeling Vogue didn’t do enough. 

Vogue as a magazine is about exclusivity. By erasing the exclusivity you’re erasing Vogue itself. I understand how that can be a problem but that magazine is literally the definition of exclusivity and that’s it’s main focus

She is the different person. Just because she was his boss doesn’t mean a thing.

The last one.. Every single white person who is successful and rich can be a “definition of white privilege.

To sum it all up - people are doing the most. She is mean as hell but that doesn’t mean she’s not okay with being socially acceptable and woke.

It's part of the article. Can we appreciate a boss that asks everyone else to arrive 30 minutes before her at a meeting?

It seems to me like she’s trying to get things done. Mean? Yes. But will it work and will people do their jobs correctly? Most definitely. I know I would.

Yes I know but I feel like Vogue is the best representation of her work and what she stands for. Judging by that I actually applaud her because I honestly do feel like Vogue is really inclusive and really out of the box. Comparing it to Vogue 20 years before it’s just doing so much better and is actually giving the necessary voice to people of color and people of different sizes, sexualities, etc.. For some tho.. It’ll never be enough.

Maybe not but she’s definitely that scary boss everyone is afraid of and by being that people assume she’s just mean.
