The "uneducated" thing is a running joke because she doesn't sound particularly bright. It's the pausing and thinking of words that she tends to do and the sometimes blank facial expression. Rihanna is also black and also has an accent but nobody says that about her. It's not a race thing. It's a Beyonce thing. Britney Spears is also someone who doesn't come across as bright. I do agree that the joke is tired and stale and should be left in 2011. I also think that despite it not being a racial thing, many people such as yourself think it is and it's better not to have people thinking that about this fanbase so it's best to stop using it. Also, you’re just seeing what you want to see and you’re the one judging if someone’s comment is good or bad based on Beyonce’s skin color. So if she was white, asian and so on you would think it’s cool to make statements like that? I think equality means saying what you want about person no matter if they’re black, white, yellow, etc. until that statement is not about their race. And racism is when you correlate someone’s skin color with every insult or joke they get, even tho education (which was the main thing of that comment) has nothing to do with that.
