Anderson123 36,099 Posted June 5, 2020 Share Posted June 5, 2020 Back when Stupid Love came out and we found out about the different tribes, there was a theory that each song on the album would represent a color or something like that and of course I don't think Gaga has addressed this so it was probably a rumor. Being said that, we've discussed on her previous albums how we see colors in each of the songs from all of them, whether it's the sound or the title, the vibe, etc. Do you associate any colors to Chromatica songs ? Here's mine: Alice - Dark Blue Stupid Love - Pink Rain On Me - Purple Free Woman - Orange Fun Tonight - Light purple (The Edge of Glory ish video) 911 - A mix of red and blue lol Plastic Doll - Light Blue Sour Candy - A mix of purple and black Enigma - Teal (Ever since we got the tracklist, I see that in this song) Replay - Orange (Sounds a little bit like a Halloween song) Sine From Above - Not just one color but a mix of so many of them and light 1000 Doves - Light Blue and White Babylon - Gold Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

(had to look it up) Alice is like a really really dark shade of blue. Really dark, to the point where you can't even say if it's black or blue. It's like something black that when you put it in a different light you can notice it has these little crystals of dark blue. 1000 Doves is orange, but a pale orange mixed with brown. Like a cloudy orange sunset. I obviously experience a lot of browns in this album. And most songs are not one shade, they are this weird mix between two usually (or I just don't know enough about colours to find the right one. Even though I don't think that's it, because it really sounds like two colours hand in hand, not exactly mixed to form one). 911 is like a metallic pink. It's like a metallic grey mixed with pink. I'd have to listen to the songs again and think about it. But about Rain on Me, honestly I can't see any colour. That song is, for me, completely colourless. Sour Candy is purple. Regal purple. Plastic Doll is a strong white. I'd have to listen to it again and visualise it once more, but definitely the pure white is so prominent that overpowers everything else that might be there. Fun Tonight might be kind of a metallic green... Something like that... So at least brown, green and metallic textures are there more than once. I’m a very visual person, so of course I think it’s crucial what color(s) an album cover is - as a result, I see hot pink and indigo for many of the songs. It sets a tone for the music. I really really wonder what it must be like to experience synesthesia. Alice - Dark blue, almost black. Highlights of diamond blue/light grey but in a smoky way.... I see the song as not so bright and also kinda mysterious. I think of this photo below: Stupid Love - Hot pink (obviously) Rain on Me - Medium-dark purple/lavender/indigo (primarily, colors based on the music video). A really beautiful gradient. Free Woman - Salmon pink, sometimes lavender. Fun Tonight - Indigo, dark-ish purple (sad feelings). 911 - Hot pink. (neon) Plastic Doll - Hot pink! Sour Candy - Lime green, also bits of purple! (neon) I always think of this candy emoji!!! Enigma - Bright blue and chrome. I always envision the first hair/outfit look from the Enigma show when I listen to it: Replay - Mostly black, maybe some orange.... I often think of it as a spooky song! Sine From Above - White, hints of smoky indigo (also, I think of this picture below) 1000 Doves - Diamond blue. Some white too. That same color of green that the performance artist vomited on her in the Swine performance.
