I cannot with those people who were claiming she was doing the bare minimum . She spoke up, shared her opinion, closed down her income generators in solidarity, donated and is now amplifying black voices by giving away her platform. We stan an activist queen .

Same.  It's why I've been a fan all these years.  She uses her reach to help others and has been finding ways to do that throughout her career.  It defines her as a person.

They can, they are not mutual exclusive but being an advocate for LGBT+ does not mean you are for Black lives or even LGBT+ black people.

Just cuz she’s spoken out about LGBT issues does not automatically mean she’s shown support for black lives or even black LGBT issues specifically.

 

@Adarsh is right that black people can be LGBT but this shows she supports them both of these large groups
