After the big debut, a big drop is expected especially with Gaga not only promoting but also not mentioning the album since the 1st day of the release! Idk what did you expect with this current situation! We know how promo sensitive Gaga is. When she will start the promo , the album will be fine! No need for useless meltdowns  With Chromatica TV, music videos ready and possible TV interviews/performances the album will have legs!

will the promo ever start though, we all know the 3rd big crisis of the year will start when she releases the next video and are just about to do promo again

Yeah, the will never mention the album again, they will scrap the music videos, the Chromatica TV and everything they planned and they will cause her label to lose the money they invested for the album campaign!

I don't get the concern about the drop, because tbh that's Gaga - she tends to have these drops, there's no harm in saying that - unlike ARTPOP or stupid love, however, we know that she's in a much better place and has a #1 song 

Look at BTW that had massive drop still sold very well. Taylor also has drops like that - it's fanbase effect, GP will pick up later.

Yeah this drop can’t be compared to other albums that didn’t suffer this whole mess and had at least some kind of promo/merch promoted for weeks to soften the drops. For instance ARTPOP’s drop was indeed tragic since she was out there promoting and it was under normal circumstances in the world, and other recent albums that had a big debut weren’t totally abandoned since day 1.
