No one gets called locals for politely asking questions about chart stats they don’t understand.

They get called locals for spewing negativity and giving their chart “analysis” that is completely wrong and causes others who also don’t know about the charts to meltdown.

There’s so many examples but a very recent one is yesterday people in a News thread regarding ROM’s #5 position were saying that wasn’t good  That they “expected a higher position”. Like what numbers would have physically made sense to get it higher than #5?

Maybe they're just guessing and basing it on their overall feeling about the song? Idk, they are entitled to be disappointed if they expected even bigger numbers so I don't see the problem. 

But yeah I understand when people are being negative, but sometimes it isn't the case.
