I definitely feel more like a Democrat because I care about human rights and all that. However, Trump was the only one in the whole world who helped us with the China sanction. He is still a piece of **** but he did something nice for us. I don’t know how I feel about that. Yet corporates like Vans, Nike and Adidas have been hypocrites for supporting BLM but also supporting the police in Hong Kong. Sometimes, Chinese money really have so much power. OT: Police is nasty. They should exist but the power they have and the lack of training/low requirement to becoming a cop is corrupting them. I wonder how much training emphasis they get on restraint vs reaction. Cuz whenever there is any degree of escalation they very quickly get agressive (sometimes they even interpret hostility where there is none) They either genuinely still don't understand that they instigate a lot of the conflicts themselves or just don't care I've had multiple interactions where I had to contain myself so hard not to snap back at them because they'd get angry and raise their voice agressively so quickly over nothing Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I definitely understand you and agree with you. I was just expressing my despair because the OP resonates with my feeling. You know I’m aware of what Trump did is basically useless but you have to understand that we have been stuck in the same position the past year, in fact we are facing more and more hurdles right now. Trump’s act might be childish but it’s good to see him throwing some sand in Xi’s eyes than nothing at all. I see the internet is with us, the people are with us but China is basically so shameless that they can’t lose. So Trump at least is entertaining to watch. And the way that people are spreading such important messages with Tik Tok frustrates me. When are they gonna learn that Tik Tok is from China and they are racist? I had two friends protesting in Orlando, FL last night and they were kneeling with cops near a parking garage and then they literally corralled them into the garage and started spraying and shooting rubber bullets. An opportunity for them to put in action their ‘skills’? I am so disgusted. Cops are guards for the system and the government at the end of the day, they always have been and they always will be. The basis of their system is violence and oppression.
