Black people in the US have every right to be angry, and if they feel that the only way their voice will be heard is through violence, then I have no option but to support them. Change comes when there is a significant amount of people rising up. THANK YOU! This is the correct answer.

How do you think America as a country was formed? Just some men in powdered wigs and petticoats peacefully marching down the street? They declared independence and fought back against the red coats. They never burnt down their own communities...... They aren’t the same as the rioters. They wrote a formal document listen their concerns. They established a democratic government. And they stood up for it. So far BLM has not listed out demands. As a matter of fact, I interviewed protestors about what laws should be changed and they had no clue. They are not alike. YaaaasGaga 6,119
Like Black people and other POC haven't been peacefully protesting since the 60's and still met with the same violence? POC built America and if they want to riot and tear down the institutions that suppress them that they built on the labour of their people for free and against their will then let them have free reign. I imagine most people commenting on this saying "omg totally agree" are white people who if they were to protest anything at all would not be met with any violence, a key example being VERY recently of white people in the US protesting the lockdown who were all armed with guns and spitting and throwing stuff at the police yet NO ONE was killed. POC peacefully protest the death of yet ANOTHER POC killed in the US (nothing new for them) and they decide to make their voices heard and they're met with tear gas, running over with police cars, batons and weapons from the police? It's disgusting. Sometimes the only way to have your voice heard is to riot. The LGBTQIA+ movement only came about when we rioted (which is important for a lot of you on this forum to remember before you judge with your racist views) and yet no one has the same "violence is never the answer" opinion on it? The LGBTQIA+ movement as well, just to add, was started by BLACK TRANSGENDER WOMEN and we all reap the fruits of their bravery and courage to say enough is enough. Don't dare try to come on here in the middle of what is essentially a modern day civil war of POC fighting to be actually equal and be naive to say kindness gets your everywhere, because guess what? When POC are kind and civil and peaceful and respectful they are STILL MET WITH THE SAME TEAR GAS, BEATINGS, KILLINGS, AND POLICE BRUTALITY that you say they they would've otherwise not have got. Your take on it is from a side of privilege and of ignorance.
REALITY 80,204
I am not an advocate of violence, but I am a believer in doing what it takes so that this country can live up to the status of being the so-called "freest country in the world." When there has been decades upon decades (and really, centuries upon centuries) of racial discrimination and violence toward the Black community and POC, I don't have a problem with riots. The people are angry. It's not their fault that their government has let them down. 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔢 𝔞𝔴𝔞𝔶 𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔪𝔞𝔰𝔨 𝔞𝔫𝔡...𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔣𝔞𝔠𝔢 𝔴𝔞𝔰 𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢.
