FameMonster01 7,101
Yesterday I started crying, I couldn't have believed that this was AN ACTUAL album by Lady Gaga.. I listened this together for the first time with my best friend who is a katycat, and after we were done with the album, we literally couldn't decide which song to return to first, because she had 9 songs that caught like instant bangers to us.. BTW as a concept is a better album than Chromatica, but for me Chromatica is her " creative-re peak" if she ever lost it again. Not everyone has that. She deserves 341234324 grammys and at least 3 more SOLO top 10 entries from this album Bravo Stefani <

And when she says " I'm not having fun tonight " It breaks my heart and it's so relatable... It reminds me a bit of Brooklyn nights
giskardsb 12,565
Its a good album but I personally feel many of the lyrics, which are some of her best, are not served as well as they could have been in something other than dance pop production. We really need an acoustic version of some of these songs, especially sine from above.

I saw many loved it too to me lyrically it is amazing but melodically it fell a tiny bit flat. but it is still a solid track! 13 minutes ago, rivingtonrebels said: Unpopular opinion apparently but I can’t stop playing Plastic Doll and it gives me feels 💞 OMG SAME! I ADORE Plastic Doll and the theme. it's so beautiful and such a nice statement song on this album 10 minutes ago, Born Brave said: Maggot Octopus - confirmed LG7 title low key sounds like a rock album title doesn't it?! 8 minutes ago, giskardsb said: Its a good album but I personally feel many of the lyrics, which are some of her best, are not served as well as they could have been in something other than dance pop production. I love the dance element to it but the production does overwhelm the song a little bit so a acoustic version of it would be a dream. it's actually a song i am almost certain they will provide a piano stripped down version of at some point! if not officially released at least during a live performance for sure! Sine from above is that strong because it’s a ballad type song turned into a banger Imo this is THE song that represents the album cover, the aesthetic, the theme, the whole thing. It’s so haunting and futuristic I’d be curious to see it at the piano for the tour but idk, I feel like the huge production is essential

Obviously a Gaga/Elton dual piano performance has to happen at some point.
