TRANSITIONS/INTERLUDES

I wish they were embedded into the next song cause listening them by themselves doesn't have the same effect, I know I'll skip them everytime they come on shuffle (like I skip Forward from Lemonade)

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Just listen to the entire album in its entirety for eternity as it was meant to be :queenga:

OMG didn't even notice the 1000 Doves to Babylon have to listen again, I know most of the songs have some kind of seamless transition I just can't even keep track of them all yet :messga:

Idk how you like to listen but I would definitely recommend headphones for at least the first time, I'm finding that almost all or possibly every song bleeds into the next. I'm listening again to find out for sure

I’m gonna hear it on headphones at the most, is always the best experience for me :enigma:

I haven't heard the album yet but in general my favourite albums of all time all have interludes (eg Paramore's self-titled album) so I'm pretty sure Chromatica is no exception to that rule.

sameee omg :messga: it really helps create a more immersive experience for the listener.

One of my favorite albums is "Haunted" by Poe. It was written about her father's death and talked about things like Poe's childhood, sexuality, etc, but was also heavily inspired by her brother's novel "House of Leaves", but that album had plenty of interludes and little artsy tweaks like that mixed in that sampled these old cassette tapes that her dad recorded years before he passed away in the mid-90's. I've always loved interludes for reasons like that example.

I cannot waitttt to hear Chromatica and get to experience the transitions and interludes - I really hope it's one of those albums where it's mixed in such a way where most if not all the songs flow into one another (a good example of this would be Confessions on a Dance Floor )
