In Stupid Love she’s “gotta quit this crying” and make herself happy but by time she gets to Rain On Me she realizes that sometimes you have to face those tears and face the misery in order to get past it, so she just lets go and embraces the tears because they help her realize that at least she’s still alive, at least she’s human. Perhaps then Free Woman is about how after the tears are over she feels free again. This album has so many layers and I can’t wait to hear the story from start to finish!
