LateToCult 39,636
I’ve been building this list of the longest time between a female artist’s first and latest #1 entries on the Billboard Hot 100. For example, Mariah Carey’s first #1 was Vision of Love and it topped the chart on August 03, 1990. Her latest #1 topped the chart on December 20, 2019 (these are the dates given by Billboard on the artist’s chart history). The gap between Vision Of Love and All I Want For Christmas is 29 years 4 months and 17 days. I’m trying to stick to the day posted by Billboard. I’m asking for your guys’s help to finish the list above Gaga. Anyone interested in helping? This is what I have so far: 1) Mariah - 29 years 4 months 17 days 2) Cher - 27 years 4 months 7 days 3) Aretha - 19 years 10 months 15 days 4) Beyoncé- 17 years 6 months 6 days 5) Madonna - 15 years 8 months 25 days 6) Britney - 12 years 3 months 0 days 7) Christina - 12 years 1 month 10 days 8) P!nk - 11 years 10 months 11 days 9) Janet - 10 years 2 months 26 days 10) Gaga - 10 years 1 month 23 days 11) Whitney - 10 years 0 months 30 days 12) Rihanna- 9 years 9 months 23 days ... These aren’t ranked but in case you’re interested: Katy - 5 years 7 months 3 days Taylor - 5 years 0 months 15 days Kesha - 4 years 0 months 16 days Jennifer - 3 years 7 months 27 days Halsey - 2 years 4 months 9 days Camila - 1 year 7 months 4 days Ariana - 1 years 6 months 6 days Cardi - 0 years 11 months 22 days Women who aren’t in the top 10 of this list include: Paul Abdul, Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Donna Summer, Tina Turner, Barbra Streisand

Isn't that like 8 years? Or are you taking the first and last no 1s they had?

AnglerfishbraBENUS 5,522
Love this idea you should do the greatest gap between number ones in general. Like measure From Born this way to Shallow etc

Economy 47,011
It's crazy to think of just how FEW artists manage to have hot 100 #1s more than a decade apart. Long very successful careers are just that rare

I totally forgot that Born This Way was Gaga’s last #1 before Shallow. There may be a list like that in existence? Not sure. But it does sound interesting!
