brooklyngypsy 125
Thought it'd be fun to hear everyone's brief summaries of The Queen's discography, from The Fame till now, and what it means to you/how you see it. So here's mine! THE FAME - the allure of fame, the glamour, the facade, the desire to become influential and have a voice THE FAME MONSTER - the dark side of that fame once she's acquired it, the dark places she’s been through to get to this point BORN THIS WAY - using her influence as a voice for her queer family, self empowerment and love for the LGBTQ+ community ARTPOP - an artist first and pop star second, to create art that defines her, to rebel against conventions and be her brazen self JOANNE - a person first and artist second, to destroy the image of Gaga and rediscover herself as Stefani Joanne CHROMATICA - refocusing her energy towards kindness and healing through her love of music (hence the GAGA tattoo) and finally acknowledging/overcoming her traumas and pains
