Exactly. It's all about stability. I actually think it well def debut top 5 or at least top 10 but look at what that meant for Stupid Love. Nada. Zero impact. For what was an excellent disco/club-ready catchy radio-friendly song. I have a little hope though!

At least SL did quite well on radio

For some reason it did poorly on streams tho

I think it was a very liked song but not loved. Liked by most people so the call out scores on radio were good and people liked the song enough to not change the radio station...

But not enough people loved it enough to stream the song on their own

I've heard that for radio how many people "like it" is the most important barometer for airplay but for streams people who "really like it" or "love it" is more relevant even if more people also hate it cuz songs that are just "liked" won't be purposely streamed

Yes

It's debuting on Friday which means it technically has two tracking weeks

Apparently radio stations already have it too

I think I'm getting at is they are pushing this hard on radio WW - more than SL which impacted later, and they pulled the plug on early . Feels like ready to get their true radio hit to build on SL's good work

I hope ur right!!!!

Strong radio plus Ariana's streams = massive hit :excited2:

Also Gaga tends to do extremely well on HAC so that's an added bonus where Ariana doesn't always do as well as Gaga in

My question is how much was this collaboration a creative decision, rather than a commercial one :bon:

Yeah I was sure it was going to rebound on streaming. And become at least a semi-hit like Don't Start Now or Blinding Lights. Those two songs had less than impressive opening day streams and Blinding Lights still has very low numbers for the video but is huge on Spotify!

What you are basically saying is, its radio filler and no one consumed it past airplay :poot:

It sounded good on speakers but not headphones it's too jarring, plus the lyrics weren't.. Relatable

It just wasn't enough to score a hit, but they targeted pop radio with it and it became an airplay hit in many countries. That was its job, they used the cure to infiltrate streaming, and SL for pop radio after an abscence of 7 years

ROM needs to be replayable so people interact with it past radio

For now, I Still predict #4 peak but multiple weeks top 20.

Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight

gaga as the biggest star in the world right now + streaming force ariana = number 1 on billboard hot 100

I wouldn't call Gaga the biggest star in the world right. Last year, yes. SL was stable on the charts but it werent a hit.

Modern Ecstacy

I don't know about a #1 but I am sure it'll go top 5

But if Say So (ft. Nicki Minaj) was able to go #1 then I believe that there's a chance it'll be able to go #1

I think we'll definitely get a top 3. I can only hope we get a push from Scooter.
