Its about what sources say, and that's how Wikipedia decide this stuff. Gaga herself said its an EP, and they use her words as the source: http://www.mtv.com/news/1626134/lady-gaga-is-honoring-fans-with-cheaper-fame-monster/ "In the midst of my creative journey composing The Fame Monster, there came an exciting revelation that this was in fact my sophomore album," she said in a statement. "I would not add, nor take away any songs from this EP. It is a complete conceptual and musical body of work that can stand on its own two feet. It doesn't need The Fame." So yes, it is a studio album, but it is in EP format. Also Kesha released Cannibal EP with 9 tracks. skip to minute 6, she’s saying album not EP on the actual show: skip to 2:40, she states she’s been fighting with her label and that the fame monster is her second album

The bonus tracks were released as a stand-alone extended play. It’s not that difficult to grasp. She made it it’s own era because she was at the pinnacle of her success. That’s the entire reason a reissue was issued in the first place, her debut was a widely successful album. Yes it had its own unique visuals and concept but that was more of a buffer between The Fame and Born This Way. It was released as a stand-alone CD and also as a deluxe of TF. RIAA separates both albums sales in the US, and as the Wiki page is in english, it should be separated that way too. It is, after all, the LG2. Take Beyoncé's Everything Is Love, which is counted as a collaborative album because it's released under the name of "The Carters", not specifically "Beyoncé and Jay-Z". 3 hours ago, Salvador Sequea said: Or because Cheek To Cheek was LG4 I thought Cheek to Cheek was released as “Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga” or something? Galvon 1,868
Ugh... Just because it's an ep doesn't mean it's not an album. Also what does studio album actually mean? Like that ep didn't drop out of nowhere in stores. It was recordered in a studio first, so it's also a studio album.
ARTGOD 3,266
TFM is an album and not an EP, and it doesn’t have anything to do with Gaga’s artistic vision or what she or her label says, but with the fact that it’s simply too long to be an EP. 8 tracks and over 30 minutes of runtime is comfortably within album territory. There are albums both from decades past and recently released that are way shorter but were still marketed as albums and not EPs. The definition of LP and EP is arbitrary and constantly changing because the length of your average album changes through the years. When most albums are 15 tracks and an hour long an 8 track album might seem like an EP in comparison. When most albums are 9 tracks long and barely hit 40 minutes of runtime, suddenly TFM fits the album definition pretty well.

I still don't consider it part of her discography because there's not a single song written by her. These are not her experiences or artistry. Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin. ARTSEX 1,135
Can someone please, fix the ARUTW's chart position about Switzerland? It says 8, but it actually hit 7 twice. You can use this as source http://swisscharts.com/song/Lady-Gaga/Always-Remember-Us-This-Way-1801941 Dance. Sex. Art. Pop.
ARTSEX 1,135
Also, why is Boys, Boys, Boys listed under promotional singles? It was added to that section only after it was certified Gold. I don't get it. The source they are using is the Manhattan Clique Remix released as a part of "The Remix". The Fame (song) has also a remix there, but is not listed as a promo single. LMs need to be more objective there. Dance. Sex. Art. Pop.
