I'm a huge fan of the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise, and every single game release since 2001 has featured songs on the in-game radio stations. For those of you who have played it, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about! I've discovered SO MUCH music through these games, both "new" and old, and throughout many genres. Even to this day when I replay them, I find music that I otherwise would've never heard/discovered. It's full of 80s and 2000s music, plus mid 2010s, and I pay close attention to the songs I like so I can Shazam them and save them to Spotify. It's so embarrassing. I even Shazam music while I’m at work. I Shazam music that comes from other cars driving near me, whenever I’m not driving. Fortunately for me I have a neighbor who likes blasting music so that’s another way I discover artists. So far I have 5056 songs in my Shazam.
