She and her husband came to this country with very little, and are legal now. They are very anti- illegal immigrants. They just want immigrants to go through the same difficult process they went through. They feel they earned their right to be Americans and that other’s should do the same, and pay taxes, the same way they do. Where they came from was very rough and I always try not to put myself in their shoes, because their living situation is much better here in the USA now. I’ve been through hell and back when I was a young, and I would NOT want anyone going through the same pains as I went through. So I can’t imagine why some legalized immigrants can actually WANT others to go through what they did it’s like those people that had spent decades paying off their students loans don’t want the government to do something about the student debt crisis because they want others to suffer the same way they did.
