(it is also funny how y'all will preach about "freedom" and then use racist imagery but that's America, I guess)

Not that what you said is true, but at least we don't worship the police & military.

Considering most European countries have higher life expectancy - you can check - and a considerably higher ratio of people at risk (e.g. old people) is this really a surprise, though? The U.S. economy - irregardless of where the money comes from - is ten times the size of most of these countries, and you have one of the - if not THE - MOST expensive hospitals in the world, it is obvious that those hospitals would have more funds, and therefore, more equipment. That does not mean that you have a good health system. Your system might - might - work in a crisis like this, but that doesn't mean that people don't die every single day from preventable diseases and conditions. It doesn't mean that one single hospital stay may mean going bankrupt for many families.

Most of that is your government's fault for not providing enough of that few trillions worth of an economic package to those who actually need it. If the big corporations get millions and billions, and small companies and people get like a penny of it, they obviously will suffer. The fact that your whole economy is based on providing to rich so it can "trickle down" somehow is the bigger problem. pandemic is only the agent that shows the system doesn't work in this case.

I'm not even going to answer this because it is obvious you are delusional when it comes to this so let's leave it.

again, you are acting as if the rest of the world does not have any big economies and everything depends on the U.S. Of course an economic collapse would affect literally every place on earth, but you are exaggerating the longevity of its effects.

Newsflash: human lives are more important than politics and economy. Let's not pretend economy and politics are "natural" parts of humanity. They are made up so that certain people can profit off the backs of the rest. It is funny how you can say this with a straight face, but then again, it is not your house that's being unnecessarily drone-bombed, is it?

I get what you are trying to say but see the point above ^

I have been looking after myself with no support from anything or anyone since 2014 but okay, boomer.

I like how you’re saying they’re using racist imagery when one of their signs literally says THIS IS NOT NAZI GERMANY .. weird for a racist to not want their country to be a totalitarian racist regime .. you must’ve pulled a muscle because honey you R E A C H E D

heres Germany’s protests :

https://www.euronews.com/2020/04/25/german-police-arrest-over-100-during-anti-lockdown-protest

here’s Canada’s protests:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/nationalpost.com/news/canada/ontario-reports-48-more-deaths-related-to-covid-19-476-new-cases/amp

here’s Australia’s protestors:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/australia-news/2020/may/10/ten-arrested-and-police-officer-injured-at-protest-against-victorias-covid-19-lockdown-laws

oh and Hong Kong is protesting as well...people don’t seem to want to live under totalitarian regimes nor seem to be excited about lockdown measures that are replicating ineffective Chinese practices .. People don’t also want these lockdowns to incentivize leaders to utilize it any time they feel a threat merits it.

Can you explain your thought process behind the stimulus because how do you expect a stimulus to comfortable support citizens income permanently? Those millions of bailout money was to provide for the insurances and incomes of the employees in those companies but apparently it’s selfish to provide such an income for employees ? I’m guessing you haven’t read anything on the small business loans provided most of which the trump administration said do not have to be paid back. Issue is that if lockdowns continue its estimated 30-40% of small businesses will shut down regardless.

great depression lasted a decade so your statement that its longevity is exaggerated is a vast understatement.

and the economy absolutely has a direct outcome on human life. There’s a direct correlation between affluent economies and human health. An economy is just as important as human life because poor economic outcomes mean poor health standards hunger poverty homelessness etc so this idea that human lives and economy are separate entities and that the economy is simply stocks and bonds is a farce. A healthy economy means people have jobs and their quality of life is positively affected. How would countries even be able to sustain their social support systems if there is no money ? Again let’s look at human health and life expectancy and overall quality of life in poor economies versus affluent ones. But seeing as you’re an an-cap I don’t think you really care about that.

also use American catchphrases properly — I’m 28 .. Thats not a boomer

Nnnn how much y’all wanna bet 3/4ths of the people defending him don’t know Jack **** about the poor working conditions that his lower level employees face? How much y’all wanna bet the members defending him are the same ones against Medicare for all, raising the minimum wage, etc? How much y’all wanna bet his defenders also never had to work in terrible work conditions themselves so they can’t be bothered to give a fuk about his employees? :billie:

I'll take that bet, and I will counter it with a bet that says all those hating on Elon's working conditions defended Bernie's working conditions when employees and their union complain of poor working conditions along with poor pay and women in the prior election complain about sexual harassment not from Bernie himself.

Hate a billionaire with employees in poor working conditions but love millionaire with employees in poor working conditions plus an atmosphere of sexual harassment.

I really don't even care about your hypocrisy anymore.
