I could never live in the US, Guns scare the crap out of me and the fact that anyone and everyone can get one so easily is mindblowing to me. I don’t say that to make the US sound better, more that your zip code very much determines your life expectancy in the US. For instance, if you’re in the south or west side of Chicago, the regularity with which you’ll see violence is substantially higher than the north side which is whiter and more affluent, on average.
