Even though I love Bad Romance, Shallow is truly a one of a kind song that has reached such a wide audience, is paired with a commercially and critically successful MONSTER of a film, and is possibly the greatest karaoke song of all time now. The fact that we as fans even get to have giants like Bad Romance and Shallow to compare is telling in itself of how amazing Gaga is as a versatile Queen who has topped and bottomed every inch of this universe

Franch Toast 26,910
If you're talking about critical acclaim, that honor goes to the good song "Shallow." However, subjectively, "Bad Romance" remains her best song for me. I loved it back when she originally released it, and I still bop to it as hard. Every time I hear it, I can't not dance, even if I'm sitting down or driving. If I'm working out and need a pick-me-up to keep on going, I blast "Bad Romance." It's not only sonically that I love it – I also appreciate the clever lyrics. Additionally, I'm a fan of her acoustic and jazz & piano rendition – when I heard it live, I cried. She has other excellent songs, but none that move me both physically and emotionally like BR. She/Her/Hers
bloodyguigo 10
I believe she has better musicvideos (Judas, Alejandro, Born This Way), better songs (BTW, Scheisse, Always Remember Us This Way), better impact (Shallow, Million Reasons), but I don't think any other song has everything one of those things as good together as BR. Simply because she was just 2 years in mainsteam when released BR, and this kind of impact, being so new to the public eyes and making things incredible, is kinda impossible to achieve

Isidro Guevara 821
To be honest, MTN, TEOG, and to a certain extent ARUTW, could've been game changing and her defining hits after BR but she decided to f*** up BTW era by being more outrageous than ever and she didn't release ARUTW. I think Shallow comes close to being a defining hit, almost to the level of BR. I'll WRECK U right Up...G.U.Y.!!!🌋💥

COOOK 76,406
She either matched it or topped it with Shallow, at least from the GP’s point of view
Chromatican 4,046
Yeah, Marry the Night, Bloody Mary, Heavy Metal Lover, Aura demo and many others have topped Bad Romance. Bad Romance is not top 3 of The Fame Monster...
HeavyPunkLover 2,120
Facts: BR is not Gaga best song. Just one of her most successful. "Just because you know my name, doesn't mean you know my game"
Babel 41,494
Nope and she won’t until she realizes she needs to clean herself from all her preconceived notions of music in order to provide a full reinvention. Sound-wise Chromatica is shaping up to be a return to her early days which is lowkey disappointing from someone that has shown the unique ability to reinvent her public image.
