I fell in love with Gaga during ARTPOP. I was 13 at the time, and to be honest, I hadn't listened to a lot of artists—just in general. I was studying classical piano at the time, and if you'd ask me what my favorite genre of music was at the time, I probably would've said classical, cause that's all I really knew. Gaga helped me to expand my taste in music and my love of art with ARTPOP. I wasn't even fully aware of how "messy" the era was cause I was young and naive. I just enjoyed the era for what it was. Through C2C, Joanne, and ASIB, she's also helped me to expand my love for music greatly, especially with Joanne. I fell in love with rock, folk, jazz, etc. With Chromatica being described as "firmly rooted in classic house," I'm now taking the time to research and listen to a lot of classic house stuff. I'm listening to it right now as I'm typing this out! And you know what, I love it! Yet again, she's evolved her art, and has evolved my taste in art and music. This is why I love her so much. Adele style. Now she's in her 30s she can succeed with her voice noting else. This is higher risk,its dance pop, it's not 2011, and you're competing with these newer ones on an urban dominated music market. At the end of the day though it's akout the fans. There's always competition they just need the window to jump from..
