I feel like ever since she dropped out, she was trying to secure that position. She was doing relatively well at the time, it didn't really make sense for her to drop out so early, but if this was her plan, and if it works, I guess she would've done a good job. She was polling at 1 or 2% when she dropped out. Correct me if I'm wrong. The whole tulsi scenario destroyed her momentum

I mean, that isn’t great either, but again, “relatively” well 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔢 𝔞𝔴𝔞𝔶 𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔪𝔞𝔰𝔨 𝔞𝔫𝔡...𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔣𝔞𝔠𝔢 𝔴𝔞𝔰 𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢.

She blamed her decision on fundraising woes, which allowed liberal admirers to point fingers at overly cautious and racially blinkered donors. But the reality is that when you're mounting a national campaign for president just two months out from the Iowa caucuses, running a distant sixth place just isn't good enough to keep the lights on, no matter the candidate's race https://www.google.com/amp/s/theweek.com/articles-amp/882074/why-kamala-harris-failed My stats were wrong

They allegedly had a conversation after she publicly endorsed him and theres’s been a few big fluff pieces making a case for her. I still think Kamala or Amy are more likely to be chosen but Liz may have a bigger shot than she did before. Who knows.
Luc 4,776
20% is a very small plurality though. If you gave potential Biden voters the chance to choose between two options, e.g. Harris and Bernie, would Bernie still be the most popular option? That's a key takeaway (at least for me) from the primaries: you can have 20 or even 30% of people behind you, but that doesn't mean the 30% option is actually preferred to the 10% option in a race with multiple options. What’s historically done, and a smart strategic move, is building a coalition between two camps with the VP pick. The conservative Dems have their reason to vote with Biden, why give them another? They’re not the majority of Americans, and opinion polls now say a majority of Americans want M4A, while Biden is out here saying he won’t fight for it. Hillary didn’t unite the party in 2016 by choosing a progressive candidate, and not only did she NOT stomp Trump like everyone said she would, but she lost. Unfortunately the corporate dems are too blind by money to see that.

Lol, no way! She doesn’t have enough experience to be VP. That would be a terrible choice! Warren would be fine, or Harris, or Klobuchar, or a dozen other candidates that have governing or Senate experience.

But then again... he did say that he was open to choosing a Republican VP, so I guess I shouldn’t be so surprised if he did end up with Ms. Post-It Notes
