In large part because of social distance measures. There are also significant concentrations in places.

You are talking in past tense. This is still ongoing. 
You are also saying “700,000” as though that’s not huge.

As I said, one that has the virus but needs no special care, will not be treated, they get treatment at home in quarantine. Those who need intensive care get treated, at least where I live. Sometimes there's nothing they can do to save a life, with covid19 or without. If the Covid19 kills you, it's really probable that a lung infection or a bad flu case would kill you too.

The virus will kill people, but the death rates ar extremely high because our healthcare system cant handle alot of people. We are accommodating the healthcare system instead of it accomodating us.

If we were ready for the virus by having enough beds, hospitals, and medical equipment, things could be much better.

While the virus can't be stopped in its tracks, it can be slowed. Stopping it from spreading quickly will help ensure that health care systems can cope with the strain of the outbreak. But if everyone gets sick at once — represented in the chart as the sharp uptick — it's a problem.

Splitting the chart is a line: the finite capacity of the health care system. Above that line, it becomes far more challenging to treat both coronavirus patients and people sick with any other illnesses.

That leads to a need to "flatten the curve," or slow the infection rate, leaving health care systems better placed to treat people — and save lives.
