A little off topic, but does anybody ever find her treatment of Gaga a little shady ? she seemed really close to her during TF-BTW era and made out they were really good friends and she performed on her tons of times. Then after that she never had her on expect for once during AP and even then she seemed distant and then again during ASIB. Like seriously sis did you forget about her during C2C-Joanne ?

To be fair tho i do wonder tho how much of the decision on this stuff is directly from Ellen and how much is others in the Network since it's her show but not her company

But even if it’s the case this decision isn’t directly from her, it’s a matter of kindness at least to ask “are you ok?” to ppl who works with you daily.

That's why I said, I don't think Ellen has anything to do with the payrolls... She's the figure of the show but she doesn't own the network

 

But like others have pointed out, her crew does work under her. It would still be a common courtesy to reach out and ask how they are doing even if she isn't paying their salaries
