i don’t give a f*ck about the charts, and don’t put words in the mouth. check my description under my username. from there it should be evident i’m not only alive for the top 40 chart. take several seats for that please 

 

second, don’t assume my age. i’m going into my later 20s and i have had MORE than enough suffering in my lifetime, and don’t you talk to me like i’ve had some easy f*cking life. that’s disgusting.

i don’t hate joanne on a thematic level. i think it could have been so, so good. but sonically i think it’s not my thing and the songs are not cohesive (ayo, pi, jw, and dic are oddly placed or don’t really have a spot on the album at all). you can pretend you’re ever so enlightened about a pop album, just as i am allowed to have an opinion that it could’ve sounded great, but it fell just short. in the future, i would refrain from telling other people that their suffering is less than how they feel. it’s unbecoming.

Gaga had 3 session with redone and that's more than enough to create the magic .. do u really know that just dance/poker face/love game/boys boys boys are fully produced in less than a week ?

In the very video you posted, RedOne says they wrote it on the tour bus, not produced. It was recorded in Los Angeles and Amsterdam, on two different continents.

Gaga clearly met with RedOne for one or two sessions, didn't feel it and dropped him. But if you want to be delusional and think there's some good Gaga music sitting on his hard drive, then 🤷🏻‍♂️

He himself said that he was told by her/her team that his song was supposed to be the lead single. I don't think his songs were THAT bad if at one point she wanted to make it lead.. Also she worked on this record for 2-3 years before she started working with Mark Ronson and only his songs made the cut. It's clear that she had completely different direction for that album before she worked with him. Joanne was recorded in a span of few months and she had 2 years worth of work before that that she for some reason didn't want to release. So I kinda don't understand why you're denying the existence of "original LG5" when those facts clearly tell different story.

 in the same interview he said that they had 2 laptops and headphones connected together which means that he was talking about the early stage of the production not about a writing session .. there's a difference

The only reason is that gaga wanted to prove herself without redone specially after an underperformed era like ARTPOP .. 

Just think about it .. gaga is so smart and she clearly didn't want her success to be in the hands of one man .. and there's nothing wrong about that .

I remember vividly Gaga was mixing songs in January 2016. I believe the album was close to being finished, and she did  scrap it for a reason. This is only what I think but, I believe Joanne was a calculated move to change her public image prior to Superbowl and A Star Is Born. So she started all over again in March 2016 and made Joanne.

 

Edit : let's also remember RedOne said one of his songs was supposed to be the lead single and then he doesn't know what happened.
