It’s absolutely going the opposite way of everything on the radio either from last year with those deephouse chillwave beats that make me nauseous AND also the recent disco revival (blinding lights, DSN, and Adore You) SL is a throbbing bassline with some aggressive industrial synths. like the “zipper” sound and the vocoder. the chorus is simple and the emphasis is on the beat. it’s definitely not something that’s been done lately. it’s super 80’s and early 90’s. it’s a vogue track essentially. Ariana tried make it happen too back in 2016 with Be Alright (listen and tell me they’re not similar) but with no success, so I don’t see how is that generic in 2020? “Fantastic, chic, freak, slay.” Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
