KindnessPunk28 1,506
Madame X is really in the top 5 Madge albums for me. I mean even with its filler it's still immaculate. American Life can't relate.

MingersPrayer 579
It’s undoubtedly in my top 3. I was 15 when it was released and the campaign around it in the UK was superb. I loved album roll out campaigns back then. so clean, well considered and precise. I remember a billboard going up outside my dad’s house in Glasgow and just being mesmerised. I just came out & my first boyfriend & I would listen to it in his bedroom and kiss after school. Not the most romantic album but I don’t think you need too much to get you going at that age. obviously the Whole campaign didn’t go as planned due to the backlash but I was living for it. Played on repeat. She released a limited edition version which came in a box with stamps and a poster. It was reduced to £3 in FOPP within a year and I bought a whole bunch. The GP didn’t understand it but in a way that makes it even more special to me.
