HoneyB 27,926
The way I knew the EXACT members who would make the ignorant comments I had to read through the past 9 pages... you can’t make this sh*t up What Bhad Bhabie is doing is disturbing and absolutely wrong. It’s so funny how people like her LOVE the aesthetic of being a black woman, but could NEVER go through the discrimination and degradation and the bullsh*t that black women go through everyday. For years and years they were made fun of and harassed for their features but now it’s seen as popular... This child is tone deaf and is a classic example of a child who has never been disciplined properly and the people who made her famous should be ashamed of themselves. Blackfishing and attempting to change your race is NOT ok and the fact some of you would even attempt to normalize it is disturbing. 💋 𝕊𝕥𝕖𝕡 𝕐𝕒 ℂ𝕠𝕠𝕜𝕚𝕖𝕤 𝕌𝕡💋🍪

In a forum about the biggest LGBTQ popstar supporter. I'm not going to reply to every single person who got triggered at my comment because LOL . But I will reply to this particular one, because I also can use it as an opportunity to clarify that I'm not a woman . Unlike most of you, my experience with the trans community is not that of circle-j*rking on Twitter with a bunch of losers, looking for excuses to be triggered. I have actual relatives who are transgender, I have close friends who are transgender. I myself am mistaken for either a biological or a transgender woman literally every single day of my life, because of my physical appearance. For all that matters society perceives me and treats me more or less in the same way a transgender woman is treated. None of you have any room to even *attempt* to "educate" me on this matter, you guys are delusional. As for the topic in question: what I said was very clear, but I explain it in detail just once. After that you all can yell at your phone screen for as long as you want, I won't be reading any comment as I do not care about the way any of you feels regarding my comment (no offence! ). What I said is: * In 2020, we accept for people to change every aspect of their physical appearance as long it makes them happy, and does not interfere with other people's lives. We basically accept others to live exactly as they want, in order to feel content about themselves. That person "Bhad Bhabie" has modified her appearance to look obviously darker, and I see people in here essentially saying: "she cannot look any darker because that's not how she was born". Which is an invalid argument. Regardless of how you were born, you can do with your body whatever the hell you please. That girl just had a tan and a black wig . And I'm sorry but that's not "black face" . Black face is intentionally caricaturesque and grotesque. It intends to mock the features of african descent individuals. That is not what she's doing, nothing about her appearance is caricaturesque or grotesque. She just got a fake tan, LMAO. So, yes, basically: as long as it is not your body, your opinion doesn't matter, period. Anyone who feels any sort of way about what I said has my full permission to remain mad, I don't care . This chick is extremely disrespectful and flat out said she doesn’t care what black people think she’ll do whatever she wants whether it offends them or not. She is a white girl, there is no reason for her to pass as a biracial/black girl. Changing your gender is not the same as blackfishing/facing. Please educate yourself on the matter. Can you explain how tanning/wearing darker foundation is trying to pass as a different race? Honestly curious because unless she changed her tinder profile to say “black” under ethnicity or does so on other things then I don’t see how she’s trying to pass as such when everyone knows she’s white? OP: she looks completely different... honestly looks like she’s using Facetune or something. Also, the difference in color between her face & body 😬

It's her body anyways, if she thinks black women's aesthetic looks great, and thinks of those features as desirable for herself, I cannot judge that. People literally change their gender now. She wants to look darker, who cares, at the end of the day that's her body and she's harming no one. I do not think this is the same as cultural apropriation. It's her body and her skin, we can't tell people how to feel comfortable with themselves, that's not our place. sex**** gender cant be 'changed' yaas werk slay mawma yaas

We'd love to say this world sees everyone the same but it doesn't, and historically black people in America have been discriminated against, still to this day for their hair, deemed unprofessionnal etc... It's not that easy and a complex issue to see a white person wearing that hair and being praised, and tanning their skin because it's on trend to be "black" or ethnically ambiguous when for ages, and Ive experienced this as a child, I was shamed for my skin color by white girls, called curry sauce, told my skin was too yellowish and greenish, my eyes looked like poop, my eyebrows too thick and now the tables turned... For years and years they were made fun of and harassed for their features but now it’s seen as popular... Don't get me wrong, I agree with you and taken to this extreme, I'd say she is trying to look light-skinned black or definitely mixed at least. But I want to add that just because you see women getting lip injections or butt implants, etc. doesn't mean that they're trying to look black. It's usually one or both of these reasons: this is the look that's on trend and they're just trying to look like a more voluptuous version of themselves. I lived through the exact opposite trends before, when girls were straightening their hair to the max and were starving themselves so they'd had no butt at all, so it all comes around again. I've no plans to get surgery but I do try to enhance what's naturally there which is the whole point of beautifying yourself and I don't like how curvier white women are sometimes accused of trying to look black, as if an entire body shape belongs to a race. We can't just take certain features and believe only one race can naturally possess them. But even if a woman is trying to emulate the black look, she won't always be someone ignorant, she probably genuinely likes the look and would never have put a black woman down, so it's not really her that's the problem. And if society is starting to think these features look good, well, it's the start towards something better. Always remember at the end of the day, for years, all sorts of people have been trying to look like anything but themselves. People may be killing themselves with skin lightening to make themselves whiter and others are killing themselves with sunbathing/sunbeds to make themselves darker. It's an all-round human affliction. But again, I agree with what you're saying in general. I just wanted to give a slightly different take on it.
