plasticalice 2,224
I preordered the transparent color vinyl from the UK store expecting something iconic. The Chromatica cover, which opens up to reveal artwork from the PAPER magazine photoshoot. The vinyl discs, illuminous transparent hot pink. Something fun for the girls this summer. However, as revealed yesterday, the vinyl discs are simply transparent in a plastic tone, and they are fittingly housed in transparent plastic bags. No album cover, no beautiful artwork on the inside. It is literally just a plastic bag with a sticker on it... This seems to be the case for all editions of the vinyl, even the exclusive silver vinyl found at exclusively at record stores, as revealed by the details provided by those record stores’ websites. When you are about to serve album of the century with a flawless artwork, why are you gonna give it to us like it’s a rotten sandwich in a ziplock lunch bag? Because of this, I have no choice but to cancel my preorder and WAIT until the album releases to figure out which edition of the album I like the most. Here, Gaga has just lost a first week sale from a DEDICATED FAN, all because she is delivering the physical copies of the album to a below average standard. This is not okay. Why why why waste such a beautiful artwork? If I am spending €30 on a vinyl, I expect more effort put into it. Have this classic plastic bag vinyl style as a limited edition collectible, sure, but at least the standard editions should have the album cover. Now come on now! I am not asking for that much as she did it for her other albums. Why not this one?! Joanne vinyl in hot pink was GORGEOUS. In conclusion, you are gonna lose sales if you purposely make your products ugly.

darkchylde 14,857
i agree on your overall point though. packaging is so important, you can't just throw out a transparent sleeve anymore SPECIALLY on a transparent vinyl sis what were you thinking... i hope she comes to her senses and puts a little bit of effort into it. also the picture disc is hideous sorry not sorry, she could've just made the chromatica symbol the picture disc

dynamite 50,362
I'm thinking that they haven't fully shown us all the record designs and sleeves, could that be right? It would be insane for them not to release an iconic version in a hardback sleeve.

Vitleysingur 13,735
What are you expecting for? Transparent/Picture vinyls always come with transparent sleeves. Dreams of you and me are in the dirt.
michael angelo 1,087
Same here. I bought the Super Set and then bought the same Vinyl again, thinking it would be so good that I would want two... I’m asking for a refund now. It’s a scam. Transparent COLOUR isn’t the same as TRANSPARENT. And that’s on periodt miss Gaga we could belong together
