Sam Smith to rename album, pushes back release

i liked the title  if he finds a better name i'll be okay with this choice

It was never said that the album was going to be rerecorded or new songs were going to be added, idk why there are so many waterworks and claims of scrapping in here. The album is being retitled because the name feels inappropriate atm, and it's likely being delayed due to fears this won't roll over in time. That or there's work needed to go through with a name change (such as repackaging albums, if a tour was scheduled they'd probably need to go through a process of trying to readvertise, and a whole hoop full of PR meetings). I feel like the new release date will likely be fairly close to the June 5th release date because I doubt they'd push it much further than that. Everyone has to keep in mind that the album was originally scheduled to come out very close to now, and was only pushed back due to covid, meaning the album is for sure done and finalized, doubt they'd just scrap that.
