Of course it's a Dragonball Z throwback some context for those who aren't nerds: Cell is the villain threatening to kill everyone and destroy the Earth. Gohan is the only one with the power to stop him but he refuses to use it because he doesn't want to fight or, god forbid, kill anyone. Android 16 uses his final words to reach him. TeamFourStar did it best imo: "Cell was right. You think you’re better than everyone else, but there you stand: the good man doing nothing. And while evil triumphs and your rigid pacifism crumbles into bloodstained dust, the only victory afforded to you is that you stuck true to your guns. You are a coward, to your last whimper." This is an interesting analogy but I feel like this isn't a good comparison due to the Electoral College. If my vote truly mattered in the first place, the gerrymandering in my state wouldn't be screwed. Regardless of how I vote, my county is Red. It'll be Trump voted into oblivion, and my vote will inevitably lost in the sea of delegates. I wish my vote would matter even IF I voted for Biden, but I feel as if Biden doesn't have the actual backing to beat Trump come debate time, and my vote will be thrown anyways. Ousting Trump should be the top priority. Pretty sure if Bernie was the nominee enthusiasm would be low for him in key demographics too in the same poll since black and suburban voters, even young voters weren't as enthusiastic for him in big numbers to vote for him in the primaries... The Fox News Poll is independent of the Fox channel. It's a non-partisan quality A-rated poll. You tried sweetie. Not you thinking you did something by distinguishing a channel from a polling company... 29 minutes ago, HybridAT said: Bernie was projected by polls to be the nominee just three weeks ago. What happened? Basically, polls mean nothing. These indicators of enthusiasm are useless. Biden wasn't the first choice for a lot of voters, especially those who supported other candidates who later endorsed Biden like Pete, Amy, Kamala, Cory etc. But most of them ended up voting for him. not you saying polls matter in one post and other ones don’t. pick a stance please 😭 and yeah, congrats, neolibs coalesced around the wrong person and now no one cares enough to outvote Trump. such a great power move

I can relate I mean, the reason I'm not as aggressive about pushing the #PartyUnity thing anymore is because tribalism leads to toxic candidates like Pete or Biden, I forget which, saying "vote for the guy who is an actual democrat". As if that should matter. What should matter is the platform you run on, not the letter next to your name And secondly, I realize a lot of votes really don't swing things except for a few specific places. Both our counties will 100% go to Trump. You voting 3rd party and me voting Biden won't change that and I lowkey expect my whole state (Florida) to go to Trump but there are other places where it'll matter greatly. Hillary wasn't that far off an EC win, only a few thousand votes behind in the deciding states. Idk, I've said my piece so let me not ramble and from one survivor to another, let's look forward to the day when we can elect another president who isn't an accused/proven rapist Whimsical bitch
StarstruckIllusion 53,580
when you pick an extremist against american opinions, this is how you serve record low enthusiasm. neolibs won’t learn tho, and will just blame Bernie, Russia and the Coronavirus 😭 Imagine how tired we are

The DNC is wretched but the only current realistic alternative is pure evil (Trump and the GOP). With the GOP's shrinking base I suspect that'll change in the near future but for now, it's either settle or contribute to evil. Again, just my opinion I guess i could see your point, but I live in a state that hasn't gone blue since the 1950s.

Leoj305 3,774
Biden might win because he’s Obama’s VP. And he will have Obama hardcore campaigning for him. if you can get the Obama world to appear it could beat trump. but, the Bernie votes may or may not be there. He needs that too. Then how is he crushing Bernie in most of the primaries. Seriously, how am I supposed to buy that Bernie could have beat Trump when he can't even beat Biden and Biden is crushing him in several important swing states? I mean, come on, Biden won every county in Michigan. I 'm pretty sure he won the working class (both white and Black voters) and won Black voters in MI, too. And I VOTED for Bernie. I do blame Bernie. I blame him for hiring a bunch of Jill Stein people to run his campaign. I blame him for never trying to go above 30% and counting on a contested convention. I blame him for kneecapping Warren, who was beating him and Biden in the polls for a brief time. If he'd dropped out after his heart attack, a chunk of his voters would have easily gone to Warren AND moderates, who were uneasy with him, were fine with her. I blame him for not truly reaching out to Black voters, and frankly being wildly offensive at times when it comes to Black voters. I blame for basically not reaching out to the CBC. When Barbara Lee, who is even more left than Bernie, didn't endorse him that was VERY telling at how terrible he must be at being diplomatic with other politicians. She also called him out and said he needed to do better with Black politicians and voters...and he obviously ignored Babara. He lost Black voters in SC and VA, the latter an important swing state, by 80/20 margins and 70/20 margins...and instead of going " I'm going to reach out and work even harder for votes "...he instead railed about how it was the "establishment" and how he won the working class. Does he really think all the Black voters who voted for Biden weren't working class? I'm sure many weren't, but many were. I blame him for having his surrogates blame his losses on voter suppression....EVERYONE knows Black southern voters are the ones most impacted by voter suppression...and they voted overwhelmingly for Biden. To me, that was so f*cking delusional. If I hadn't already voted for him, I would have had a really hard time casting a vote for him after that sh*t. Also, he was ambushed on that Castro question...and I knew what he was saying...but how hard would it have been to come up with a more diplomatic answer before the Florida primaries? Sometimes you have to sweet talk and lie to get votes...and we need at least a chance at FL. It's possible to think Biden sucks and that Bernie is a good person with good ideas...but terrible at the act of politics.
