I'd rather a promo single or actual single come before a tracklist. Releasing a tracklist early will be fun but it'll only make fans even more thirsty.

Read Gaga’s post again, shes not saying its wrong to release. She’s saying SHE’s not comfortable releasing And she’s choosing not to due to a variety of reasons: starting with the fact that she cant carry out her artistic vision like she wants it due to the outbreak. Following the business decision that its best for her and her employees to wait from a profit point of view, and finally on top of that the fact that she wants to take the virus seriously and she wont compromise her health or her teams just because she has an album coming up.

I think through her post its quite clear that on top of the business point of view, Gaga herself wants to take the health guidelines seriously. She doesn't want to go out or make her team go out. This is the same woman who posted about not being able to see her parents and grandmothers. Thats how serious it is to her. On top of a business point decision (which IS justified even if monsters don't feel comfortable admitting it), is also a decision propelled by a desire to actually take care of her own people, not a decision based on wether its the right thing to do or not in the publics eyes.

THANK YOU! That's exactly from head to toe what I'm also thinking. Gaga ALWAYS, from the beginning and mostly on the ARTPOP era, said that she hates the concept of releasing an album with a bunch of songs, a tour and leaving. Remember the 'cum' metaphore? She craves for a whole experience with the music-visuals-fashion-performances, and from what we've seen that's what she wants to serve this era as every other one has (yes, even Joanne). So she's trying to do that even in the COVID-19 situation. That's what goes through GAGA'S mind. The label is a whole nother story that's focused on the business side of things. In her message we can clearly see that this desicion is not easy but I'm very sure that it would be way harder for her (and the fans that actually love her art and care about the execution of her vision) to scrap all her artistic projects resulting on a bigger disaster than in the ARTPOP era, just because people want it earlier. Not like a lot of her artistic vision might not have already been cancelled. But what she wants fans to understand is that she's trying to make the most of the situation for the sake of art. If she wouldn't have delayed it, it would've been just a 'cum'. Yes, we would enjoy it, but it's just a small percent of what we could've had and years after we'll be crying like we are for ARTPOP
