ARTPOP had leaks, media backlash, and cancelled singles. 

Joanne had zero visual promo within the US, just radio interviews which were basically copied and pasted, and a cancelled tour.

Thus far, Chromatica has now had two release delays, and a leaked lead single with divisive reactions from fans.

So this does not surprise me. 

But...I'm not sure why in any way shape or form she chose to mention Coachella. 

I wanted to stop reading at Joanne had zero visual promo, I am so happy I didn't because the last sentence is even more funny. She mentioned Coachella in order for so-called fans to stop bitching about how lazy she is and how little she cares about performing her music, didn't it click?

At the end of the day, I respect her decision, however, this was the absolute worst thing to do.

This album will not come until the Fall or Winter. That's the reality of the situation. Many people have said that summer will be the peak of the virus's impact. How can she expect to release an album then? It looks like the rumors were right when they said that Gaga in fact had many things planned. If anything, that's the biggest letdown. To know we could've so many more things, if it weren't for this ****ing virus.

She better release more singles, that's all I'm saying. Having SL in Februrary and not having the album until who knows when? Look, I really, really, really love SL, but I can't just listen to that on repeat forever. I hope she releases Babylon, ROM, and more, cause sis, we need it.

Also, this really puts a damper on the album's message. Like, it's about "dancing through the pain", right? Now is the perfect time to release an album like that! I understand that from a business sense, it makes more sense to delay the album, from an artistic sense, it doesn't at all. And I thought Gaga was one to put art over business...

How sad that some of you think only about numbers and charts, and not the music itself. And Gaga is also inconsistent: an album can't be released these days, but in the meantime Haus Laboratories has now announced a new set of products. Music no, makeup yes? And to think she once said "Music not the bling"

Such a bummer. But honestly I feel like if she kept the April 10th date it'd be her messiest era ever. People would freak out by the lack of promo and she wouldn't be able to go out and do things

That’s why she is smart by not unveiling the tracklist. There may be 50 or so songs recorded for Chromatica (as she does with every album) but by not giving away the tracklist, potential leakers have no idea which songs to leak.

Buddy, I'm not saying anything negative about her or her work ethic. I'm pointing out hard facts regarding the release and reception for her albums within recent years. 

And Coachella can't be used as her "not being lazy" considering her last Coachella performance had 90% of this site complaining she was half asleep on pills the whole time. 

I am not saying I agree with everyone, I'm simply pointing out facts. 

I personally could care less when she releases the album, I take what I get when I get it. It's not my music, it's hers.
