For some reason the original English Dub changed a lot of random things! I’m glad they corrected that with the new dubbing. Well, in latin america the dub changed most of the attacks names, because in our language the original words didn't really really made a lot of sense, the phrases were very incoherent . So most attacks were changed by some sort of "attack name + verb" formula, it was really cool. For example: Sailor Moon: "Moon Tiara: ACTION!" Sailor Mercury: "Mercury's Bubbles: EXPLODE!" Sailor Mars: "Mars' Fire: IGNITE!" Sailor Jupiter: "Jupiter's Thunder: BURST!" Sailor Venus: "Venus' Crescent Beam: ANIHILATE!" But the third season is really good IMO, and the soundtrack is really beautiful. Is the manga still ongoing? I'm confused. The manga ended decades ago, and the original series adapted all arcs written by Naoko Takeuchi. In fact the 90's show added a new tv-exclusive arc on top of that, "Sailor Moon R". But Toei Animation altered several aspects of the original comic when adapting its content, so recently Sailor Moon Crystal premiered, which is a new animated version, which intends to be closer to the author's vision. Long story short: Crystal is a remake, that's supposed to be closer to the manga. So far, we got "Crystal" versions of the first three manga arcs, and the 4th one was announced to be adapted as two films.
