Best advice would be too wait on the PS5 and get the updated version. Initial console releases always have issues. Otherwise make sure to get a warranty. PS4 was weaker than Xbox One yet PS4 went on to become the second highest selling home console of all time behind the PS2. If PS5 is priced lower and still comparably powerful, it will be just fine. Microsoft can put out there the ultimate console, but their studios fail at producing games showcasing what the console can really do. And let's be honest here, the Playstation's IPs are the key factors in why Sony is doing so well. The Last of Us - Horizon : zero dawn and God of War are enough for me to pick a side.
