Former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will face off Sunday night in the first one-on-one debate of the 2020 presidential primary. Because of the coronavirus outbreak, the debate will have no audience, and in accordance with CDC guidelines, their podiums will be 6 feet apart.

The debate will air live at 8 p.m. ET from CNN's studio in Washington, DC.

The debate will air exclusively live on CNN, CNN en Español, CNN International and Univision.

I understand this is the safest choice but the mental image it creates looks ridiculously funny lmao

I'm really hoping that this is not an all out Duke between them, and that it's a unity message. Imagine a 2 hour love from both sides coming together to defeat Trump. Bernie has to know it's over at this point, so this would make the best of the moment.

Biden announced he is adopting policies from Bernie(free public uni/college tuition for family income 125k and lower) and Warren(her bankruptcy polices).

But honestly, I hope they don't dig too much into each other.

I also think this should've been postponed. Are the primaries on Tuesday really expected to go on? Ohio's governor is taking a lot of action on the crisis.

REALITY

This is Bernie's last chance to make a serious impact. He needs to hit Biden hard on the issues, and he needs to present exactly why he's the candidate America needs right now. With the COVID-19 pandemic, for example, this is the perfect time to hit him on Medicare for All.

Hopefully Bernie will be able to pull through and knock Joe out of front-runner status with this debate. Biden's never been great in the previous debates, and I'm sure a 1-on-1 with Bernie will just be even worse for him.

Almost forgot about this. :rip:

Also I wonder how voters will turnout this Tuesday with the coronavirus being everywhere.

This is totally off-topic, but we really do have the same taste in men, huh? :diane:

I prefer there being no audience. No influencing the people at home with a biased audience's dramatic reactions.

Biden just said single-payer doesn't work in Italy. What.

The problem in Italy was a lack on containment and hospitals being in full capacity in some areas.
