Gaga might delay any new announcements

I think that she might find it inappropriate and insensitive to be announcing something as joyous as 

'HEY WORLD THIS IS MY ALBUM COVER! PRE-ORDER...' or a second single when the world is fighting against something so serious. Gaga is one of the most sensible and sensitive human beings in the music industry and if there's anyone who would put their work ahold for the world, it's her.

Can you imagine how the media would perceive Gaga if she decided to dance and urge people to pre-order albums in the face of such a serious pandemic?

Let us all prepare for the delay of Chromatica or the second single or even the revelation of the album cover, it's a very odd time we live in.

Edit: Yall Im not saying I want this. Im excited for the album. Im jsut saying it might happen.

My thread is not about album releases but new announcements after the second wave of the pandemic.

They announced their albums before the second wave and the release date is already set.

But it's hard to break news of joy in such a time like this is what my thread is trying to say.

It didn’t stop The Weeknd filling his IG stories with merch and vinyl promo.  But yeah I agree that Gaga will probably not announce anything major for at least a few days to let the shock die down in America.

But no other artist has done this.

I feel like just because Gaga has spoken openly about Coronavirus, we're expecting some delay. Whereas other artists who have albums coming out in the coming weeks haven't even spoken about it. Look at Dua Lipa and The Weeknd.

Only a few days ago, Gaga was posting on Twitter about how to get tickets to The Chromaitica Ball.

The world will not come to a complete stop because of The virus. Life goes on. 
 

If anything, new music would be a blessing in these trying times. 
People will probably even be listening to music more so than usual because they are stuck at home.

True. The Weeknd didn't even acknowledge the pandemic in any way whereas Gaga has done so more than once.

She even said she's quarantining herself and she's not able to meet her family, I doubt she would dance with 100 dancers now and hold meetings and stuff.

She hasn't even revealed her album cover and announced the second single. The only way to do it is if the announcements are positively contributing to the morale of the world.

I get your point, but has anyone need to be depressed and stop living ?

I mean I live in France, they closed every shops and so on. But I'm going to work tomorrow like almost everyone... Life is going on.. Just my opinion

That's why I don't think anything will change in her plans and annoucements concerning new album. Though I could see some of her promo shots / perfrmances being scrapped because of the crowd.

Actually @Bradley I do understand what you're saying. Gaga is different to other artists so she may not want to say 'hey here's the cover art for my new album xx' - but at the same time, she may feel it will take people's mind off it? We really need a distraction from what's going on right now.

even so I think the world needs something to listen to or look at while they continue to feel isolated.
