Postpone Chromatica?

The people saying it should be postponed shouldn't get the hear the album on April 10th, then. We've waited so long, and now  y'all wanna be like, "No, push it back." No other artist is postponing their releases. If other artists did it, I would understand, but literally no one else in the industry is doing it.

If this album is all about making people dance, spreading kindness, etc... then why the hell would it be delayed in a time where people need those exact thing during this outbreak?

She'll release Chromatica April 10th regardless of the virus - it's not like it will hurt streaming or sales especially if everyone is sitting at home. The Chromatica Ball on the other hand is RIP in all honesty.

I'm reading so many comments like "this will be over by late April/May"....no...it won't. It's good to stay positive, but realistically speaking this is not how a "flatten the curve" contingency plan works when there's a pandemic. Even if the rates fall this month, we'll still likely see mass groups of people getting sick throughout the summer, fall, and early winter with no vaccine in site.

Release April 10. Locals will be confused by the mainstream attention that "Chromatica" is getting and will mistake it for "Coronavirus" and thus give Chromatica more clicks and streams.
