That would be a terrible idea. In the end, Gaga is accused of using the current global situation shamelessly to earn some extra money :neyde: . We know she's not, but the GP would definitely think that way.

OT: I'd be okay with the physical release to be postponed, due to the fact that we otherwise might spread the virus (in worst-case). But the digital release is nothing that depends on "outer circumstances" as everyone can download and/or stream the music from home.

I was just joking. It's not like she and her team would be able to get enough hand sanitizer made in time anyhow.

I only hope they’re finding innovative ways to promote it because TV production is halted at the time being.

I honestly think this is what Gaga and her team is doing right now.

Gaga seems to be the only artist that does something super innovative with her albums in times of crisis and comes out on top. Ever since her first debut with The Fame after the US economy tanked.

real question is when will the bitch perform Stupid Love

With COVID-19 existing I doubt we will see a live performance until the tour. :air:

It would be cool if she went live on social media and did an acoustic performance of Stupid Love.

Postpone the tour but why the album? Given how it’s inspired by video games and anime culture she can find ways to promote it and have people stream and listen to it. Besides no one else is in a better position at the moment. And if any other major artists decided to postpone she could own the charts

Once again, I think the tour is good timing.

The second part, I totally agree with you. Releasing the album April 10 will make Gaga the only popular artist to drop a new album and be the only one to release new music. Most artists do not have set dates, which means they still need to work on it.

The only logical reason to postpone the album is if they really truly plan to go full force with promo. But its really only justificable if they commit to it. Im talking talkshows, performances, hosting gigs, live shows, radio press tours, candids etc. I bet they had more promo planned for Stupid Love, but with the current state of the virus I guess thats why we have not seen Gaga do promo. However, given that most schools and public service places are on hold up until beginning to mid April, I think April 10 as a release date is JUST fine as promo can start a few days after that.
now, if Gaga is gonna pull a ARTPOP/Joanne where she does half assed promo, then dont postpone it

I think we just have to accept no promo and cancel everything we hoped for relating to success

Honestly, music and TV (what people can do from home) may actually get boosts with the social distancing advisories. I can't see a reason to postpone. She can do a lot of promo by satellite. Or without an audience.

No, bish. Cancel this thread, bish. :billie:

We can stream the music, or buy digital if don't want human interaction. Also most physical bought online are mailed in, so we dint have to drive to nearest shops :billie:

As for me tho, I’d still go to shop to do the gods work, putting CHROMATICA in front of other albums :billie:

I surely hope she doesn’t follow that trend ever again. :air:

Imagine how upset she is. After 2 eras of not giving a f*ck and the one time she ready for music and the bling a global pandemic surfaces. :bradley:

My thoughts exactly.

No. Music's the only thing that's keeping me from reading the news about COVID-19. It's a distraction. I need that. We need that.
