That would be a terrible idea. In the end, Gaga is accused of using the current global situation shamelessly to earn some extra money  . We know she's not, but the GP would definitely think that way.

OT: I'd be okay with the physical release to be postponed, due to the fact that we otherwise might spread the virus (in worst-case). But the digital release is nothing that depends on "outer circumstances" as everyone can download and/or stream the music from home.

From what I've seen the virus is only lethal for people who are very old or already have existing health conditions. I think we will be fine once the infection rate starts dwindling and we find ways to properly treat it. Infection rates are already dropping in China so that's a good sign.

I understand the hysteria, personally. Like yes, it's out of hand. But there's fearmongering combined with how no one 100% trusts the government.  At least, no one smart. 

It will hopefully die down. But I'd understand if it didn't. 

But we're stocked up on toilet paper, I'm an introvert, and I have a backlog of books, games, and anime anyways.

I voted ‘yes’, not because I want her too, but because I can totally understand why she would, and I’d be okay with it.

Of course I want the music, but I also like album eras for other reasons. Interviews, performance, street looks. Non of which can really happen atm. 

And I don’t think things will be better in a month, but worse unfortunately. 

I’m just worried the whole era will feel like a non-event, where she’ll drop them album and essentially disappear until the summer. 

And I do think sales will suffer. If people can’t work and are stressed about money they’re not buying music.

Postpone the tour but why the album? Given how it’s inspired by video games and anime culture she can find ways to promote it and have people stream and listen to it. Besides no one else is in a better position at the moment. And if any other major artists decided to postpone she could own the charts

Coronavirus can potentially impact the promotion which will impact the sales. This is such an important moment for gaga. It has been a while since she last released a pop album. This moment cannot be ruined. But whatever her team decide, I'll always root for her.

First thank you to being brave to share your opinion and I can see your point. 

I think most of us would love to see Gaga deliver the full package to what she gives each era. However, I think fans are so desperate to hear new music they will settle with just the album release.
