And they refine their current treatments which have been working fabulously. Warmer weather means lower infection rates across all diseases. At the moment they’re avoiding any mass spread to avoid complications with hospitals. Despite warm days the climate in the northern hemisphere is STILL very conducive to infectious diseases. Popstars will still do their thing come the summer - it might be limited , they may avoid European and Asian hotspots but we’ll go back to the routine. My hope is that people still remain hyper diligent about cleanliness and Starbucks employees continue wearing gloves — even if there isn’t a pandemic please don’t be gross
Genuine Guy 09 13,941
The people on here wanting her to release on April 10th in the middle of a pandemic are also the first ones to cry and hate it when she debuts low and doesn't sell as well. Just think about it logistically. Also post album singles don't work anymore. Having the album release 10th April is too close to SL release and yet not far away enough to give the Ari single proper treatment. It just feels a mess... Oh and by the way.. see this as a lesson of what's happened before: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glitter_(soundtrack) Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight
highbythebeach 2,477
i could not care less about streams or sales, gaga making more money isnt benifiting me in any way lmao. gimme the album
Flawless 2,236
With all this stuff happening this album is already such a non event for me tbh. Something that I waited for so long now ruined by this whole situation the scars on my mind are on replay.

I would really hate to see the reactions when the album doesn't do very well, and it WON'T. At least not as well as it could. The promotion has been extremely minimal. If I didn't start following this cult site last year I would have no idea Gaga was even releasing an album in a few weeks. I vote for postpone, but I seriously doubt she will. I like those people to vote and answer to this thread. I like to understand where they are coming from. She’s putting out her first solo album in 4 years. She has worked on it so long. She obviously loves it and has said she wants to make people dance and be happy and wants to introduce this album to as many people as possible. With the current worsening situation she wont be able to go out and promote the album. There will be no tv shows, no performances, no interviews, no interacting with fans on the streets etc. Nothing. Also, the physical copies are not printed as of yet, the factories are or will be closed, shipments won’t work, people won’t get their cds on time. This is a disaster tbh. It’s sad and she does not deserve it. It would be great if she could just release it when it all settles down. No one will be able to casually walk into Target and buy the album if it’s gonna go the way it already is going.

The Chromatica Ball on the other hand is RIP in all honesty. I'm reading so many comments like "this will be over by late April/May"....no...it won't. It's good to stay positive, but realistically speaking this is not how a "flatten the curve" contingency plan works when there's a pandemic. Even if the rates fall this month, we'll still likely see mass groups of people getting sick throughout the summer, fall, and early winter with no vaccine in site. The situation will hurt her seles greatly.

The people who are dying are old and have underlying medical problems which is USUALLY the case with the flu .. not saying this is not sad AT ALL !! But it is to say that if we practice cleanliness and social strategies go avoid getting sick , we’ll be fine — this is not an apocalypse because if this is the criteria, then the 45,000 Americans that died of the season flu since October should’ve sparked a national emergency. the US doesn’t have as large a reason to fear large infections since outside the cities our homes are far apart and out culture already practices social distance, nor does it have the same propensity to smoke as much as Europe which is likely the reason for so many serious European cases
