Got Dynamite 0
Updated. Have you got any more information about the rest of the Latin dates? I can only give rough figures and still have no information about the second Puerto Rican date or Porto Alegre. Plus, tickets are always being added, so it's difficult to determine which shows are properly sold out. Porto Alegre date there's no information. T4F haven't talked nothin' about it yet. Puerto Rico, i really don't know. Puerto Rico and Porto Alegre are the most difficults dates do got something. :)
Guest
So this isn't true? NOVEMBER 03 - SAN JOSE - Estadio Nacional - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 27,000+/38,000 (75%) Probably not, a few hours ago there were 26.425 tickets available, so I'd say about 9.000 tickets sold as a capacity of 35.000 was announced. If that number turns out to be true though I'll be very happy! That would be a massive accomplishment!
StrawberryBlond 14,261
So this isn't true? NOVEMBER 03 - SAN JOSE - Estadio Nacional - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 27,000+/38,000 (75%) I've had such conflicting information coming through that I really don't know what to believe. This was the last update I got before I was told it might not be true and I'm unsure what to do. It's annoying that this date will fall on the day that Billboard announces the box office grosses, meaning we'll have to wait until December 3rd before we find out how many really sold. I couldn't understand why everyone was getting worried about Mexico not being a complete sell out when Costa Rica is a matter of days away and is selling even worse! I'm telling myself that it must be selling decently because it's only s-x days away and the date's still on and it's still at the same venue. If it really was flopping, it would have been cancelled or at least moved to a smaller venue by now. The concert can't move at this late stage, so it can't be that bad. Costa Rica was a massive risk for Gaga. Live Nation should have played it safe and just gone for Venezuela. Or just booked a smaller stadium. The only other stadium that could have accomodated the show is Estadio Ricardo Saprissa Ayma, which holds 24,000 and big stars have performed there. That would have been a safer bet, but the national stadium? On the plus side, this is really going to raise her profile in the country, just like it did in Eastern Europe. Visiting new places means she'll build up a legion of people who'll want to see her again if she goes to a neighbouring country and will be prepared to go that extra mile to see her. henaub 191
The capacity of the stadium was supposed to be 35.000 and about 27.000 are still available, so that would mean 8000 sold. You can count all the available tickets on the site. There's no way that 25.000 tickets or even 17.000 have been sold! the capacity is 35000 just the stands without the general admission tickets but since they can use the field area it increases a lot more and the ministry of health allowed them to sell 44000, are you from CR or something? if youre not off course i know better about the stadium Pole dancer
Runway 27,876
Well, i have not seen any legit pictures from mexican date so i'll post one It looks pretty good for a "flop" date

ditaparlo 0
The article says that the capacity for the show is around 38k, and 20,061 tickets were still available till yesterday. 10k tickets were sold in the first 4 days, and around 1k are being sold daily in the last days. They're waiting a large increase of the sales, as usually happens there, and very optimistic about the gross.
TheMadridHash 4
i really hope she can sell 20k tickets in CR that would be a success, such a small country and getting 20k tickets sold would be an amazing acomplishment
Got Dynamite 0
I think she can get 25k. They said that the sales will increase a lot on the next days. And if she don't arrive hiding, i believe on 28k.
Got Dynamite 0
That is not a flop. Linkin Park and Pearl Jam got 20/23k people on this same stadium. If she get 25k people, is already the record of the stadium lol

Griffin 6
Depending on when Gaga heads back to Nice (on the ARTPOP tour), she should/could definitely sell out a new stadium by the name of Allianz Riviera. Capacity is 35,000 - how much do you think for a concert? in the mid 20's? (this time she performed two dates to over 18,000 people - all she gotta do is take one fifth off those ticket prices. ) It looks MASSIVE - but according to the website, is only 35,000. OPENS IN 2013. Oh, and speaking of stadiums, which stadiums would you like Gaga to head to in the next tour? Here are some of my ideas. WEMBLEY STADIUM - 80,000 (1 here in London, 1 in Manchester, 1 in Birmingham Arena) AAMI PARK - 24,000 (she could probably do around 3 this time here in Melbourne) TOKYO DOME - 55,000 (could EASILY sell out two of these dates. The Japanese love her) GELORA BUNG KARNO STADIUM - 78,000 [concerts] (this would have been the biggest date of the BTWBall.) HONG KONG STADIUM - 40,000 (easy) Edited October 30, 2012 by -blackjesus

No reason to go back to the south when she's got as far as Manchester. I do think that the next tour will begin during ARTPOP volume 2. Which will make ticket sales easier. I think they will announce all dates at once for stadiums and if they sell out then they will add an arena date for the country or a stadium at the other end of the country. I think the best plan is not to stay in one place for too long. Maybe do 4 Europe shows followed by 3 SA shows and 5 na shows then back to Europe. If it's done like that there's a sense of urgency. She won't be back for a while to each country lol 180 shows over 15 months App releases new tracks after the 2nd volume has ended. These tracks get iTunes release too. Hit the biggest stadiums in the world after releasing the best single from ARTPOP. Give everyone a lot of time to save money and buy tickets I think performing at festival slots during the tour would also be amazing promo. Just 2 festivals like Glastonbury and a performance out of her comfort zone at bennicassim or at an Ibiza club. I need the tour to constantly evolve like tmb rather than feeling constipated like the btwb. Even if this means starting off only performing the hits, vol 1 and vol 2 singles and later including all vol 2 tracks. Change the stage a bit, overhaul the setlist every now and then... play a random song on piano. Whatever, just keep it moving. Make it a marathon rather than a sprint. Perform lots of shows over a long period but take it over time. Aim to perform to as many people as possible. There's even the possibility of getting to 180 dates then doing an arena tour of each country to hardcore fans. That could take it over 200 shows easily and get her up at the top of the list for gross. She could top U2 if she were to do 3 types. Huge stadium tour - in nonflop countries perform one or two shows in their biggest stadium. Stadiums - performing everywhere in stadiums and allowing 6 months for tickets. Do this during a single release. It will go like btwb and cover majority of the tour. Arena - when we reach show 180 the shows are continuing due to fan demand. The tour covers the most successful stadium countries with arena dates " just for fans" which take the tour to 220 shows in total. Finish the tour with a 5 stadium sprint. Hit the biggest stadiums over the world and finish at Yankee.
