George 363
:D Back to english! The same about the estimate gross with each date. Well, I dont know why but people think that this is fake. :)) So, maybe I need to explain some things. About the sold out shows, I think it is so simple to actually see if I am right or not, by just trying to purchase 2 tickets to the shows. About the estimate gross : Why the estimate gross to some dates is the same as the Monster ball? The answer : because the prices are mostly the same ( where I could find the prices). Date - Monster ball price range - Born this way ball price range Los Angeles - $ 51,25 - $ 181,50 for TMB - $ 49,50 - $ 175 for BTWB ( For the Monster Ball the gross was $3,532,782 for the first 2 shows and $1,555,789 for March 28 2011) That is why my estimate is 1,600,000 $ Phoenix - $175, $49.50 for TMB - US $49.50 - US $175.00 for BTWB ( the same prices) : $1,386,115 ( for TMB). My estimation is $ 1,300,000, because I choose to rounded off ( I hope my english is correct). Las Vegas - $183.75, $52 for TMB - US $60.75 - US $213.00 for BTWB ( higher prices) - Gross : $1,712,826 for TMB so I estimate the gross at $ 2,000,000 per date because of the higher prices Dallas - $175, $49.50 for TMB - US $53.00 - US $178.50 ( higher prices, but not with much) - Gross : $2,965,424 for 2 nights ( not sold out) and $1,369,067 for March 14 - I choose $ 1,500,000 based on the first 2 nights. Chicago - $175, $49.50 for TMB - US $49.50 - US $175.00 ( the same prices) - Gross : $1,801,457 on Feb. 28, 2011. My estimate gross : $ 1,800,000 New York ( Madison Square Garden) - $175 $49.50 for TMB - US $54.50 - US $205.00 for BTWB ( higher prices) - Gross : $5,083,454 for 2 night in 2010. My estimate : $ 2,000,000. And you can continue and find out. The sources : http://ladygagatourb...ution-hall.html and ticketmaster website. But there is a way that BTWB to gross more. Yes, we know the price range for the dates for TMB, but we dont know the exact number of tickets sold at each price. And always the attendance can make a little difference. Hope that people ( including DrCake) will not anymore label this fake, as I showed that is based on true information. Guest
So much flop..... If this tour is a flop I'd like to see others do better. She's doing really well, especially since she's only released three albums. I'm predicting she won't do nearly as well for ARTPOP. The only way I consider a tour a flop is if the show really sucks anyway.
Bt1 5,213
So much flop..... Then Rihanna and Pink are supperflopping. Its strange but I dont know that their fans are saying things like that. I say that because I have looked also at their tours in North America. They have cheaper prices, they have very succesful singles on the radio and they announced their dates for their tours almost in the same period. And yet they sold much less than Gaga until now. At least in North America. ( Nobody can match Pink in Australia.) And yet nobody says bad things about them. So I think that we should stop with this flopping thing. It makes us look bad. I have said this so many times, but people can stop using thing word. Edited November 15, 2012 by florin22n
superman 32
common sense is missing if you call btwb a flop lol
jhonyguy04 3
U guys are right sorry. But if she is to match the monster ball, she has to make 55K w LA plus the remaining European dates and S Africa, since she is grossing 55k in NA so far, and that seems like a stretch. hell0samuel 59
So much flop..... How on earth is it flopping? Lets look at other artists: (all this info is from wiki so numbers could be wrong) Katy Perry - California Dreams tour ( 51m, 124 shows) Rihanna Loud Tour - 90m 98 shows The BTWB has outdone these whole tours with half the shows. The only one doing better is of course Madonna. This is because, as I have said previously, 3 out of her 4 legs were 95% stadiums. making the whole tour like what 75% stadiums! Of course they are going to better. Gaga is no where near flopping, she's never been to places like this so there isn't many causal fans, whereas Madonna who's been going there for a long time would have built up a lot of fans that would always go cause they've been before. Give her some time! And I believe South America is in a tough economical time right not - please correct me if I'm wrong. So please, PLEASE stop saying she is flopping. I know you want her to do well as we all do but appreciate what she is doing and how amazing she is doing. She might not be selling 100% these huge stadiums over there but she's giving it her best shot it's not like they're all half empty!
JPM 781
they added new sections for argentina one day before the concert... what a flop.

The good news is that this number can only get bigger, if they will start adding tickets and stuff like that ( probably they already start doing that in some places, since a lot of people said that some dates were sold out). Also, I made another realistic estimation about the total gross and from my point of view BTWB will gross bigger than TMB. Not with much but still will gross bigger, if that is your concern.
